We do not guarantee specific groomers. Our entire team is trained collaboratively to provide consistent, high-quality care regardless of which groomer performs the service.
Curly coats: 4–6 weeks
Double coats: 6–8 weeks
Short coats: 6–10 weeks
In-between baths are strongly encouraged. Benefits include reduced matting, better shedding control, healthier skin/coat, and easier full grooms.
Appointments & Payment
Must cancel within the required window. Late cancellations or no-shows incur a fee.

Rabies required. Core vaccines preferred.
Coat Condition
Severe matting may require shaving for safety and comfort.
Applied for matting, impacted coat, or excessive shedding due to additional time and labor.

General Grooming Questions
To ensure safety and quality, timing must remain flexible. We offer estimates—not exact times.
Timing depends on breed, size, coat type, grooming complexity, coat condition, age, behavior, and salon volume. We provide estimated windows and notify you when your pet is ready.
Yes—as long as a veterinarian has approved your pet for grooming. For senior or sensitive pets, we may recommend express grooming (no downtime), modified sessions, or mobile grooming. If your dog becomes overly stressed or unsafe, we will pause and discuss next steps.
Late Drop-Off & Pickup
You have 1 hour after notification. After that, a late pickup fee is automatically added. Clients must ensure someone is available and notifications are received.
15-minute grace period. After 15 minutes, a late fee is automatically applied. Excessive lateness may require rescheduling.
Mobile Grooming
Mobile offers quiet, one-dog grooming, convenience, a climate-controlled studio, and travel/route planning.

• After that: No, as long as access to your pet is pre-arranged.
If the groomer arrives with no access and no one is home:
Full service fee will be charged.
No—mobile grooming is performed in our fully equipped WagLovePets grooming van.
Safety & Special Needs
We use clean, safe kennels to keep pets secure and organized during transitions. Dogs are always monitored.
If your dog does not do well in kennels, express grooming or mobile grooming is recommended.
Some dogs may need additional handling time, express grooming, mobile, or a second groomer. If unsafe, we may stop the service.
